Rover at FASHIONCLASH Festival

Moment of exchange: Roshanak Morrowatian in collaboration with Antoine Peters.

Research for our new dance performance House of strength has started. A work focussing on choreographer Roshanak Morrowatian’s Iranian roots and the ancient Persian ritual of the Zurkhaneh. For the next phase of research we are organizing an interactive workshop & talk around the theme of ‘strength’. We do this as part of FASHIONCLASH Festival 2022 and together with designer Antoine Peters. We would like to welcome you on Saturday 26 November from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in De Brandweerkantine in Maastricht.

“What is strength? Do I have to be loud in order to be powerful? As a highly sensitive, empathic, introverted and shy person, can I still call myself strong? Do you consider yourself strong? And on what do you base that on?”

In a safe and respectful environment we will discuss the topic of House of strength, and explore and deepen our awareness and expression of strength, both in dialogue and movement. For this special occasion we have invited our team member and designer Antoine Peters to give some insight in the creative process of the performance.
